ABOUT ME

I was born in Port Credit, Ontario. I hold a Bachelor of Applied Arts from Ryerson University in Toronto, where I majored in Photographic Arts and studied under Rob Gooblar.

I lived in Vancouver for 13 years throughout the 90’s and while in Vancouver I partook in 2 solo exhibits and participated

in various group shows.

Since my return to Ottawa, I've established my own commercial photography business and my clients have included Knock On Wood Communications, CBC News World and Zoom Airlines, among others.

As of Sept 2022, I'm now back in Vancouver.

I'm  concentrating my efforts on two areas of photography: human and animal portraiture, and exploring the little world through macro images.

My recent exhibits include “All The Little Things” at Loretta Studios and Gallery in 2016, “Faces” at The Vistek Gallery in Ottawa in 2017 and one of my pieces was featured in the Fall Harvest Exhibition

at Just Food Farm in 2017.

Earl Havlin Photography had resided at Loretta Studios and Gallery since its inception in 2015 to 2019.
